Brain Care Health takes a collaborative approach to psychological counselling. We view our clients as the experts in their life and are there as a supportive guide to help you towards greater understanding and positive change. We recognise the difficulties involved in discussing concerns and worries, and we approach each conversation with kindness and compassion.
Psychological counselling sessions at Brain Care Health are a unique combination of brain science and evidence based treatment approaches. We are trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, solution focussed therapy, and strength based strategies. Sessions are tailored using a combination of these therapeutic approaches and other psychological techniques to meet your needs. Sessions will involve listening to your concerns, developing a shared understanding of the issues, providing education and exploration of practical and psychological strategies for you to implement in everyday life.
